CARMIK Healing was created through trust, camaraderie, spirituality and laughter.
After an 18 year friendship Carrie Hamilton and Mikola Shevchek (Car + Mik) decided it was time to put their names together and create a holistic personal health care line that reflected their heart and soul. Their initial CARMIK launch is a natural insect repellent with minimal ingredients and exceptional essential oils.
Many explorations through trial, error and research resulted in a unique product that embodies their desire for an affordable and impressive brand containing safe and effective ingredients to help people live happier and healthier. Our products make families lives easier by giving them confidence that our Southeast Asian essential oils come from small family non-GMO farms with rich soil and use no pesticides, because all the ingredients we use are natural insect repellents!
No Citronella and DEET free was an easy choice for us, but finding the balanced blend that is potent and uplifting to the mood was a bigger challenge. We have done our due diligence travelling throughout Asia over several years, meeting the local farmers, essential oil distillers, villagers, healers and monks. We discussed how they treat pain, injuries and repel vermin and insects. Through a lot of hard work and extensive supervised mixing of ancient Asian generational oil combinations, we created a proprietary blend that leaves a desirable fragrance on the skin and repels insects. We stand behind our sources which are 100% pure, natural and safe.
All of our special formulations are hand crafted in small batches in rural Wilkesboro, North Carolina USA. People in our small town community like to call us, “The Essence of Wilkes” which makes us all smile. We will always take pride in assuring the elite quality remains intact and gives our devoted customers the confidence that we’re living healthier and respecting our environment.
